Colorado - Wednesday - Papa's Birthday

For Papa's birthday on Wednesday we decided a boat ride on the Blue Mesa Reservoir sounded like a good idea. Which it totally was until it started storming on us. But we had a great time anyway :o) For dinner we went into Gunnison to a nice local place called Garlic Mike's topped off with chocolate cake back at the cabin. All-in-all a pretty darn good day!

While everyone was getting ready, Sam and Daddy broke out the big bubble
wand Uncle Dale & Aunt Susan got him

Then it was off to the Reservoir!

It was certainly a gorgeous day at first :o)

It was a little chilly and Momma forgot her jacket so we improvised :o)

It's amazing how quickly the weather can change in Colorado!

Back at the cabin Jason got some amazing shots of the Hummingbirds at one of the feeders

Garlic Mike's was right on the water so after dinner we walked down and took some pics

On the way home we saw this amazing view of the moon over the castles.
Only got one shot that wasn't insanely blurry
