Well its been one week... Lets all sing along to that great Bare Naked Ladies Song. Ok done yeah it is now stuck in my head to. Well as of today Addie has been in the hospital for one whole week. She has been amazing through out this whole thing. We have had some ups and downs but overall she has fought through the boredom, the waking in the middle of the night, and the food like a Jedi training in a swamp. "How do you get so big eating food of this kind?" Well actually momma lost a couple of pounds but they are working that out with the dietitians.
The Nurses have been awesome. They really have become Addie's support team. The two Ashleys, Amber, and Joy have rocked so far.
As for me well this has been I guess an early start of daddy boot camp. I now get up even earlier and don't get home until late because I am trying to be with Addie at the hospital. But it has not been to bad for me we have gotten into a routine that has been cool except for yesterday when Mr. Goodcents try to poison me with bad lunch meat. Remember the bathroom scene in Dumb and Dumber or Mr. Creosote from Monty Python and the Meaning of Life mmm yeah you get the Idea.
Thanks to everyone in town who has visited Addie I know that she appreciates it. Hopefully the little guy will come out soon but you know he is getting fed in his own personal jacuzzi and gets to sleep and kick all day so really would any of us give that up? And to quote a really bad joke "guys spend nine months trying to get out just to spend the rest of there lives trying to get back in."
