November - February... Yikes!

Well good grief it's been FOREVER since we've done more than post a couple videos on here! Needless to say, there were more than a few photos to go through. Hope you enjoy the selection. Quick update on the Samster... he's up to 37 1/2 inches now and finally broke the 30 lb mark on weight. He's just about to size up in clothes, I'm just hoping he can hold out until the weather starts to warm up so we can buy summer clothes. He's getting so smart and soooo willful! He surprised us and his teachers on Tuesday by writing some letters all by himself on his coloring paper (L, V, & Z)! Our little brainiac :o) Sam is talking like crazy and it's so funny to listen to the things he dreams up. He gets so excited and sometimes can't get the words out for a minute. We are slowly but surely succeeding at the potty training thing! He's getting really good at letting us know when he has to pee, but has yet to do anything else on the potty. I'm sure it will come soon enough, but Daddy and Mommy are ready! We also took Sam to see his very first movie in the theater and he did really well. We saw Tangled. Very good movie! Okay, that's the pertinent info now on to the pictures!

In November we took Sam to see Sesame Street LIVE at Hammons Hall. He was very excited to see all his favorite Muppets :o)

Waiting for the show to start was rough
And off we go!

It was actually a pretty good show!

Watching intently

We've taken Sam to Jump-o-rama a few times now and he really loves it!

Can you tell? ;o)

Wearing Daddy's shoes

Okay, that's enough!

Daddy built Sam's name out of Duplos :o)

Sam had his very first Christmas program at school this year. It was so cute and chaotic!

Meme & Papa came to watch

As did half the town!

Sam watching his teacher, Ms Krystal

Coordinating that many 1 & 2 year olds is pretty much impossible

Jingle Bells!

The only time he actually saw me :o)

We also checked out the MSU Christmas Party for kids of employees. Sam really enjoyed icing and eating the cookies

Then he decorated a goody bag

This is one of his teachers from school, Miss Jessica. Sam LOVES her! She is student teaching at his school and was helping out at the event!

Sam insisted on a purple snowman. That's my creative thinker!

Listening to Mrs Claus read a story

Hangin' with Uncle Sean who helps put the event together every year

Decorating Christmas cookies with Mama

Sam really loved to pile on the toppings!

Double-fisting it!

On a random note, we also got new siding and windows just before Christmas :o)

Before we headed to Nana & Papa Bob's, we stopped by Meme & Papa's house to leave cookies out for Santa :o)

I think the boy's going to be musical

Isabella enjoyed playing with Papa Bob's 60th Birthday cane

Getting started on the huge pile at Nana & Papa Bob's!

Sam picked this hat for Papa Bob :o) It sings and dances

Papa Bob reading to the cousins :o)

Sam taking a ride on his new tractor Santa brought

Sophie & Emma Hurst bought this for Sam for his very first birthday. It's one of his favorite books :o)

Goobers

His first ride on the tractor (the other pics were out of order)

In January we headed to the lake for cousin Isabella's 3rd birthday party!

Aunt Misty bought the cupcakes locally and Mama made the decorations for the tops

The beautiful birthday girl!

Opening her tea set from Nana

Nail polish!

Some really cool books that look like purses

She was pretty excited about her dress up trunk from us

Nom!

'Sup?

Bella got a cool car!

Takin' a walk with Nana

In February we got pounded by a blizzard. That was pretty crazy!

Then Mama & Daddy got dressed up for a night out at the Addy Awards where Mama won a Silver :o)

Then we traded in the car Mama won a few years ago for something a little bit bigger :o)

Last weekend we headed to St Louis to visit my Aunt Reta who is very sick.

WE LOVE YOU, AUNT RETA!!!
