FINALLY!

Sorry for the HUGE delay in getting an update posted! Life has been nuts lately. In any case, Sam is doing great and growing into quite the little boy. I look at him sometimes and just wonder where my baby went! He's so handsome and sweet (most of the time)! He's walking like a champ now and even has a slow run perfected. He's turning into such a boy and loves to wrestle and be chased around the house. He also LOVES balls and cars. He amazes us so much everyday with how he understands everything we say. Even though he might not be able to communicate very well yet, he knows exactly what's going on around him. Also, he's fascinated with the Christmas tree and often won't even eat his breakfast until it's plugged in (he can see it from his highchair). We haven't been brave enough to put ornaments on it yet, but I may do that soon. Enjoy the new pics!

My sweet sleeping boy :o)

Jason made a documentary this year about George Washington Carver so we took a quick family trip to his National park the day they showed Jason's doc. It's a wonderful, relaxing place I recommend it! These are some pics of us there.

The Ferber Clan

Sam was such a good boy just chillin' in his stroller

He even got in a little exercise!

Our little family

This driving is serious business!

I had to post this because it really makes me laugh. Seconds before I snapped the picture, Sam shoved his whole arm down my shirt! What a stinker!

It got quiet the other morning so I had to see what he was up to...

Yup, mommy caught you!

The kid has this figured out, if he had the strength to get it open it would already be gone.

My little cleaning man.. found a speck of dirt on his floor and it MUST be thrown away!

He's started enjoying playing in his crib. When he wants in, he does this..

Fine mom, if you won't put me in there I'll get my lovey & blankie out myself!

Ahhh, my bed!

Look at that face!

He didn't get a good night's sleep so he crashed out on the floor before daycare. To me, the phaser just makes this pic so much cuter (& slightly disturbing!)

How SWEET is that?!

A few weekends ago, Daddy raked the leaves while Sam & Mommy played outside too.
He loves his wagon, recently he's decided pushing it is fun too.
There were kids building forts out of leaves in a yard down the street. Sam was fascinated.

Happy boy!

What are those kids doing, Mom?

All this fresh air is making me sleepy!

On the last really nice day of the season we went to a local park and walked around
their nature trail.

Sam wasn't sure what to think about the ducks and geese

Daddy showed him the trees

Look at that big boy walking!!

He's so talented!

Checking out the slide with Daddy
Sam has gotten tall enough to get himself up into these chairs in our living room. Up until now, Bogart has had free reign of them so sometimes they have to share

Our kids

Sam will climb up and down, up and down until Bogart finally gets annoyed enough to leave.
You can see by his face here that he has almost had it!

Sam & Daddy watching cartoons

Sam discovered that he could crawl under the table behind our couch. It's kind of like a little tunnel for him. He spent about an hour under there that day.

Mommy's chasing me!

Sam loves his electronics. If it's got buttons, they MUST BE PUSHED!
He even turns off the TV for me every morning before we leave.

I found him in the rocking chair in his room the other day. He was looking at his Super Why stickers and just chillin'. He actually hates stickers right now, they freak him out, but he likes to look at these.

What can I say, the boy loves his PBS

Making a mess!

He is fascinated by the lights on the Christmas tree. I let him touch it if he's really gentle.

Behold the Elvis lip. Thank ya, thank ya vera much
